- Mix two pinches of cinnamon powder, one pinch of black pepper powder, two teaspoons of ginger juice and two teaspoons of honey and take it in the morning and evening for a few days.
- Adding turmeric to warm milk with a little salt and jaggery helps to cure colds in children.
- Those who have persistent cold, cough and phlegm should eat fenugreek daily.
- If the child’s chest is full of phlegm,the juice of Tulsi leaves mixed with honey can be taken two-three times and the Tulsi juice can be warmed and applied on the chest, nose and forehead to get relief from cold and phlegm.
- Chewing a little caraway seeds(Ajwain) cures cold and cough.
- Grind and powder Baheda fruit. Mix half a teaspoon of this powder with one teaspoon of honey and lick it morning and evening to get rid of dry cough.
- Those who have a dry cough should eat radish (Mooli ki bhaji).
